Silver Dragonfly

Thai hill tribes can be traced back to the 12th Century, originating from Tibet. The Karen hill tribes live in the mountainous regions of Mae Hong Sorn, Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai. They are renowned for their weaving and silversmithing skills, forming large cottage industries. Karen hill tribe silver has a higher silver content than sterling silver. It has a weight, bright satin colour and feel of its own. Each piece is individually textured and formed by a Karen craftsman.

I use silver components in my earrings, necklace and bracelet collections.
